The submission of papers, posters or short talks (academic and/or professional) should be made online through the EasyChair submission system. The papers and posters will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee in a double blind peer-review system.
Submissions may not contain any element that identifies its authors. The EasyChair online submission system will perform the registration of each proposal, which must integrate the following elements:

  1. Title
  2. Abstract up to 500 words
  3. Category (papers/ posters/ short talk)
  4. Keywords
  5. Topics (thematic area or areas)
  6. File attachment (.pdf)

Submissions

Papers

For communications, participants should submit the full paper according to the available model:

  1. Abstract up to 500 words (11et-instructions.pdf)
  2. Full paper with 2500 to 5000 words (11et-instructions.pdf)
  3. References formatted according to the APA standard

Posters

Participants must submit a (full) poster proposal including a summary with a minimum of 250 to a maximum of 500 words. We accept scientific posters (resulting from research with explicit goals, state of the art, methodology, assumptions, results, references) and professional or academic projects (finished or in development).

  1. A1 vertical paper format in (11et-poster-template.pdf)
  2. Abstract with 250 to 500 words
  3. References formatted according to the APA standard

Short-Talks

It is accepted for this presentation model the exhibition of professional or academic projects (final or in development). For the submission of a short talk participants must submit a presentation in a video format or slide show, with a duration of 3 to 5 minutes, with the inclusion of voice or other sonorities. .

Workshops

The proposals for workshops should be submitted to the email address 11et@ipleiria.pt, and will be considered by the organization, under the existing conditions of feasibility.

  1. Summary up to 300 words
  2. Target Audience (students/ professionals)
  3. Minimum and maximum number of participants
  4. Duration of 4 hours/ 6 hours/ 8 hours

 

Submission conditions

Languages   Authors can submit their proposals in Portuguese, Spanish, or English. In the case of works in Portuguese or Spanish, the submission will have to include for publication purposes the working title, abstract, and keywords in English.

Presentation   The authors whose papers were accepted for communication will have a maximum of 15 minutes for their presentation. The presentation files (powerpoint, keynote, pdf, video, or other) must be sent until 5 working days before the conference date.

Submissions   The submission of papers/ posters/ short talks should be made through the online EasyChair platform. If you don’t have an EasyChair account you need to create one to submit your paper. https://easychair.org/my/conference?conf=11et

Publication   Communications that are presented during the conference will be published online in a full paper format, and in the conference proceedings book, with an ISBN. The organising committee will contact the authors for the submission of the final papers (camera-ready).
